If you’ve been wondering…
“Why does it feel like I can’t handle everything anymore?”

You’re accomplished, self-aware, and very good at managing. You’re the one others rely on, juggling demanding schedules, caring for loved ones, navigating loss, and showing up even when it’s hard.

But no one sees how much you’re holding, or how little space there’s been to set any of it down.

From the outside

You seem to have it all together. Capable, composed, reliable.

On the inside

You’re exhausted and you’ve been carrying it for longer than anyone knows.

Maybe it was one difficult event. Maybe it’s years of stress, grief, trauma, caregiving, and putting yourself last, quietly building beneath the surface.

Together, we’ll gently make sense of what’s been building, so you can move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

Sometimes the spark is small, but the kindling has been building for years.

You may recognize yourself here…

  • Your thoughts never shut off.
  • You put everyone else first.
  • Your inner critic is hard to quiet.
  • Rest feels impossible. There’s always something else to manage.
  • Your past still affects your present.
  • You’re carrying a loss that changed you.
  • Life has changed in ways you’re still navigating.
  • You feel burnt out, irritable or have difficulty staying connected.

Self-care isn’t enough. You need real, deep work. The kind that actually gets to the root of what’s keeping you stuck.

That’s what I do.

My approach

Therapy that goes beyond insight.

Two hands joined in warm golden sunlight

Understanding yourself is an important part of healing, but insight alone doesn’t always create change.

Together, we’ll look beyond the surface and use practical, evidence-based approaches to work through difficult experiences, shift patterns that keep you stuck, and help you feel differently, not just think differently.

I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can let go of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to hold everything together.

Whether we’re processing the past, finding new ways to respond to anxiety, or building a more compassionate relationship with yourself, our work will be tailored to your needs and goals. The aim is meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.

A little about me

I'm Zoe.

I’m a therapist and mom of two with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. What I love most about this work is the connection: helping you put the pieces of the puzzle together, getting to those “aha” moments, and seeing real relief set in.

Clients often describe me as laid-back, informal and nonjudgmental, and there’s plenty of room for humor here too. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling seen, understood, and supported in a space where you can simply be yourself.

Ways to work together

Up to 60 minutes

Individual therapy

Personalized therapy lasting up to 60 minutes.

Mind–body approach

EMDR

A mind-body approach for anxiety, grief, trauma and negative beliefs that goes beyond traditional talk therapy.

90–120 minutes

Intensive therapy sessions

Sessions that last between 90 and 120 minutes for deeper support and potentially faster relief.

With more time together, we can apply interventions like EMDR and parts work that help promote healing, and for some people, therapy may move faster. Everyone’s process is different, so there are no guarantees, but the extra time gives us room to go deeper.

Questions

Before you reach out

What happens in the free consultation?

It’s a chance for you to ask questions, share a little about what’s bringing you in, and for us to decide together whether we’re the right fit for each other. There’s no cost and no obligation.

Do you take insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider. I provide superbills, and many clients are reimbursed by their insurance. You can find full details on my rates page.

Do you offer sessions in person or online?

Both. I see clients in person at my office in Fairfield, CT, and online anywhere in Connecticut.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a mind-body approach for anxiety, grief, trauma and negative beliefs that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. As an EMDR Certified therapist, I can talk with you about whether it’s a good fit for what you’re working on.
